The web is built through the time, energy and capital of people and organisations. We believe those investments deserve recognition, meaningful choice and a fair opportunity to create value.
The Odexa Foundation was founded to advance that mission as the digital world evolves. We work on open standards, governance, monitoring and opportunities for monetisation, so the people who create useful assets can help shape their future.
A say in the terms.
Originators should be able to express how their assets may be accessed and used, with terms that participating agents can understand and respect.
A view of the exchange.
Useful evidence should connect the terms accepted with the access observed and use reported. Measurement should be clear about what it can and cannot prove.
A fair share of value.
Value may mean attribution, discovery, referrals, reciprocal access or payment. Sharing freely should remain a choice, alongside other ways to sustain the work.

The Odexa protocol is one part of our wider mission. Originator Data Exchange for Agents is an open, platform-agnostic protocol for terms, agreements and verifiable evidence. It is designed to work across hosting platforms and service providers, with a standalone free path and no required commercial account.
1.2.0-rc.1 is an implementation candidate. This local preview brings the standalone reference and its documentation together.
