# Odexa Foundation

> An active, non-commercial foundation working for a fair, open web where originators have a say in how their assets are accessed, used and valued.

Odexa is an open protocol for originator-controlled access and value exchange with participating agents. Run it yourself or appoint an optional provider for governance, reporting and payment services. The current release is 1.2.0-rc.1, an implementation candidate. The Foundation's council and formal protocol governance are developing.
